Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the rose 0.90%.

The best performers of the session on the were Lazurde for Jewelry Co (TADAWUL:), which rose 9.97% or 1.48 points to trade at 16.32 at the close. Meanwhile, Seera Group Holding (TADAWUL:) added 7.11% or 1.28 points to end at 19.28 and Alamar Foods CJSC (TADAWUL:) was up 6.67% or 8.20 points to 131.20 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:), which fell 4.55% or 4.80 points to trade at 100.80 at the close. The National Co for Glass Industrie (TADAWUL:) declined 1.91% or 0.80 points to end at 41.10 and Saudi Industrial Investment Group (TADAWUL:) was down 1.76% or 0.42 points to 23.46.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 199 to 39 and 11 ended unchanged.

Shares in Alamar Foods CJSC (TADAWUL:) rose to all time highs; up 6.67% or 8.20 to 131.20. Shares in Saudi Industrial Investment Group (TADAWUL:) fell to 52-week lows; falling 1.76% or 0.42 to 23.46.

Crude oil for October delivery was up 3.06% or 2.56 to $86.10 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 3.67% or 3.27 to hit $92.42 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.43% or 7.40 to trade at $1,727.60 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.45% to 3.77, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.03% to 3.76.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.70% at 108.94.
