Tesla Raises Model Y Long Range Price In China For Second Time In 2 Weeks - Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA)

EV giant Tesla Inc TSLA has increased the price of its Model Y Long Range version in China for the second time in less than two weeks.

What Happened: The price of the Model Y Long Range has been raised by 2000 yuan (approx. $282), settling the vehicle at a new price point of 304,400 yuan.

The prices of all other variants of the vehicle, as well as other Tesla models, remain unchanged on the company’s China website.

Why It Matters: This is the second time in less than two weeks that the company has hiked prices on the Long Range Model Y. Earlier this month, the company had hiked prices by 2,500 yuan.

However, despite the consecutive price hikes, the Model Y Long Range continues to be cheaper than Oct. 2022 when Tesla first started cutting prices in China.
