There are new restaurants and food choices joining the tenant roster at Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove.
Mito Asian Fusion, offering Japanese cuisine that includes sushi, hibachi and other fare, will soon be opening in a 7,942-square-foot restaurant space next to Ruth’s Chris Steak House. This will be Mito’s first Long Island location with another in Babylon slated to open later this month. The regional chain has existing restaurants in Bayside, Forest Hills and Yonkers.
Another new eatery coming to the mall is KPOT Korean BBQ, which will be opening in an 8,517-square-foot restaurant space across from the Verizon store later this year. KPOT offers an all-you-can-eat experience that merges traditional Asian hot pot with Korean BBQ flavors. The Smith Haven Mall location will be the fast-growing chain’s second on Long Island, following one in the Samanea New York mall in Westbury.
The Smith Haven Mall recently welcomed Yume Ramen to its food court for the restaurant chain’s first Long Island location. Another new tenant coming to the mall’s food court will be Los Amigos Tacos, which is scheduled to open in April.
