Bitdeer Technologies Group (NASDAQ:BTDR) said Thursday it mined 482 bitcoins (BTC-USD) in September, up 25.8% from the month before and almost tripling year-over-year.
“This increase came as our recently constructed 100MW Gedu mining datacenter in Bhutan maintained stable operations during the full month,” Bitdeer CEO Linghui Kong said in a statement.
Shares of the Singapore-based miner advanced 1.9% in after-hours trading.
Its total hash rate under management, including self-mining, cloud hash rate and hosting business lines, came in at 21.2 exashahes per second (EH/s) as of September 30, down slightly from 21.3 EH/s in the prior month and up from 12.9 EH/s a year earlier.
In addition, the company said it has continued to make progress in building out a 175 megawatt cooling datacenter at its mining facility in Tydal, Norway. The expansion is expected to be completed by 2025.
