UnitedHealth Group, Service Corporation International And "A Stock You Want To Own" On CNBC's Final Trade - American Express (NYSE:AXP), Freeport-McMoRan (NYSE:FCX)

On CNBC’s “Halftime Report Final Trades,” Karen Firestone of Aureus Asset Management said that the Optum provider network of UnitedHealth Group Inc. UNH was “picking up steam.” “It’s a very stable cash flow generator,” she mentioned.

Joseph Terranova of Virtus Investment Partners said that Freeport-McMoRan Inc FCX was facing significant supply challenges along with pricing pressure for copper. It is a cheap stock and a “great play for a peak in the U.S. dollar,” Terranova added.

Jason Snipe of Odyssey Capital Advisors mentioned that Service Corporation International SCI is a “super defensive name,” and should perform well despite the state of the market. With a 5% yield, it had outperformed over the last five years, he added.

Sarat Sethi of Douglas C Lane & Associates said that the sell-off in American Express Company’s AXP stock was unwarranted. It is “a stock you want to own,” Sethi mentioned. It is a “high quality company” and a “very good franchise,” he added.
