Dubai-based Trajan Consulting, a business and artificial intelligence consultancy, has launched an AI accelerator programme at the Global AI Summit in Saudi Arabia.
The Global AI Summit officially opened in KSA on Tuesday bringing together business leaders, government officials and renowned academics from around the world for a series of discussions on the future of AI.
The second-edition of the three-day Summit, hosted by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), features more than 200 speakers from 90 countries and is expected to attract 10,000 participants.
Trajan Consulting, one of the Middle East’s major AI consultancies working in KSA since 2009, says it is ‘answering the call from both regional and international growth-driven clients for AI mentorship, support, and access to investment’.
The aim of Trajan’s AI accelerator is to find solutions for the planet’s major challenges including global energy demand, decarbonisation, equitable access to healthcare and disease eradication.

Meanwhile, on the opening day of the Summit, ministers signed the Riyadh AI Call to Action Declaration, an agreement outlining the Digital Cooperation Organisation’s (DCO) long-term vision to use AI technology to benefit people, communities, nations, and the world as a whole.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia also unveiled its AI Ethics Principles on the Summit’s opening day. Designed by SDAIA and based on global and domestic standards, the framework will serve as a practical guide for incorporating AI ethics throughout the AI system development life cycle.
“Beyond the ethical application of AI, it is critical that we advance AI truly together as humankind, sharing our best practices, our expertise, our resources, and our challenges to ensure no one is left behind in unlocking the potential of AI,” said H.E. Dr. Abdullah Alghamdi, president of SDAIA.
