Partnerships

SeedBlink, the tech-specialised venture investment platform, and Doorway, the Italian fintech for online equity investing, have entered a strategic partnership to provide investors with unique access to high-potential investments in international hi-tech startups and scaleups.

Detroit-based fintech Bankjoy and Larky, an account holder engagement technology firm, has announced an evolution of their partnership to provide all Bankjoy clients with the benefits of Larky’s nudge platform.  Bankjoy and Larky will enhance the digital experience for account holders and empower financial institutions to proactively engage with their audience and offer tailored services.

TransferMate and Barclays have unveiled a new collaboration that will bring an international receivables solution to the market. Barclays clients operating in GBP can invoice their customers in their clients’ local currency in over 60+ currencies as well as 67 countries – receiving the payment back into their GBP account at the exact amount requested. Manual reconciliation is eliminated as all payments are automatically matched to the invoiced amount.

Central Payments has entered into a strategic partnership with Advantage Payment Services.  Eric Cotton,
executive VP and general manager at Central Payments, said: “Partnering with APS gives our customers access to robust, agile, regulatory compliant dispute case management, assisting in reduction of fraud loss. Plus, it’s a bonus that the APS team is full of fantastic people to work with.”

Fintech FOO has partnered with XSIGHT Future Solutions, Majid Al Futtaim’s newly formed digital arm. The collaboration will streamline Carrefour chain’s refund procedure and provide a more seamless shopping experience for its customers.

Appointments

Global fintech Gresham Technologies appoints Dan Kennedy as senior vice president of sales, North America. He is responsible for all business development, sales, account management and partnering activities in the region. Most recently, Kennedy was chief revenue officer at the AI and machine learning firm, Devron.

Sionic, a provider of omni-commerce, verified rapid payments solutions, has appointed Susan Currey as chief compliance officer. Currey joins Sionic from PayPal. She is an expert on topics including risk assessment, the three lines of defence model, monitoring and testing/oversight as well as third party oversight.

Fintech XS.com has welcomed Wael Hammad as its chief commercial officer. Hammad’s main responsibilities will include driving revenue growth globally through the development and implementation of commercial strategies that align with the Groups overall goals and objectives in existing and new markets.

Chargebee, a subscription and recurring revenue management platform, names Guy Marion as chief marketing officer as well as a member of its executive team. He previously served as GM of Chargebee retention following the acquisition of Brightback in January 2022, where he was also the founder and CEO.
