Sarah Smith is now a senior enterprise reporter at The Houston Chronicle. Smith’s tweet reads:

Previously, Smith covered housing, poverty, mental health, and religion at ProPublica. She was a metro reporter at the Houston Chronicle from December 2018 to June 2021.
She served an investigative reporter at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and reported for The Associated Press and was an editorial fellow at The Atlantic. She interned at The Philadelphia Inquirer and Politico.
