Kuwait in 2022

Ooredoo Kuwait, a telecommunications company based in Kuwait, has launched Apple Pay on its ‘MyOoredoo’ app.

The Apple service, which enables customers to pay for services, products and more, is now available using the MyOoredoo app. Ooredoo explained its customers had long awaited Apple’s feature integrated into the app. The payment service now eases customers’ daily individual financial operations.

The MyOoredoo app enables customers to manage their Ooredoo accounts. The app ensures customers can check their pack usage and balance. Customers can also pay bills or recharge multiple lines simultaneously via the app, with Apple Pay making it easier to do so.

As part of the introduction of Apple Pay, customers will be able to purchase Nojoom points for the first time in the Ooredoo app. Nojoom, Ooredoo’s digital membership card, allows customers to earn Nojoom Points on every spend on Ooredoo services. Points can be spent on rewards, discounts and more, to encourage customer loyalty.

Ooredoo Kuwait explained that the implementation of Apple Pay looks to ease its customers’ payment journey.
