New Apple Watch Ultra, 30-inch Plus iMac And Other Hardware On The Way Alongside iPhone 15 - Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL)

Apple Inc. AAPL is all set to launch a refreshed version of the Apple Watch Ultra alongside the iPhone 15 series and other hardware this September.

What Happened: Apple is all set to launch the second-generation Apple Watch Ultra alongside the iPhone 15 series this September, reported Mark Gurman in the latest Power On newsletter.

While the iPhone 15 series launch is confirmed, the Apple Watch Ultra refresh is news since it was unclear if Apple would put the smartwatch on an annual update cycle like the more affordable standard Apple Watch series.

Gurman added that two Apple Watch Series 9 models would launch alongside their Ultra sibling and the iPhone 15.

More Hardware On The Way: Besides the new Apple Watch models and the iPhone 15 series, Apple has much other hardware in development.

Gurman said that a large iMac with a 30-inch plus screen is reportedly in the early stages of development right now.

MacBooks with third-generation Apple silicon are also in the works. More specifically, an M3 13-inch MacBook Pro and 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros with M3 Pro and M3 Max chipsets are under development.

New iPad Pros with OLED displays and a new iPad Air that will replace the existing M1-powered model are also in the works.

Essentially, Apple is working on refreshing most of its hardware offerings this year. The first to arrive will be the iPhone 15 series and Apple Watches. We should know more in the coming months.
