With US stock futures trading lower this morning on Monday, some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are as follows:
- Wall Street expects Discover Financial Services DFS to report quarterly earnings at $3.73 per share on revenue of $3.37 billion after the closing bell. Discover Financial shares rose 0.3% to $94.96 in pre-market trading.
- Analysts are expecting Schnitzer Steel Industries, Inc. SCHN to have earned $0.58 per share on revenue of $808.07 million for the latest quarter. The company will release earnings before the markets open. Schnitzer Steel shares gained 0.2% to $31.24 in after-hours trading.
- Myovant Sciences, Inc. MYOV agreed to be acquired by Japanese pharmaceutical company Sumitomo Pharma’s unit Sumitovant Biopharma in a $1.7 billion deal. Myovant Sciences shares jumped 7.4% to $26.36 in pre-market trading.

- After the markets close, Crown Holdings, Inc. CCK is projected to post quarterly earnings at $1.79 per share on revenue of $3.30 billion. Crown Holdings shares gained 1.7% to close at $83.94 on Friday.
- Analysts expect Packaging Corporation of America PKG to post quarterly earnings at $2.82 per share on revenue of $2.19 billion after the closing bell. Packaging Corporation of America shares fell 0.6% to $116.20 in pre-market trading.
