Bruder named director of development at DDI

 

Developmental Disabilities Institute recently named Susan Bruder as director of development. DDI is a New York-based nonprofit that provides special education and therapeutic intervention services for children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Before joining DDI, Bruder was director of development at Visiting Nurse Service & Hospice of Suffolk based in Northport.

In her new role at DDI, Bruder will be responsible for creating and maintaining donor relations, major gifts, capital campaigns, and fundraising events.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Canisius College in Buffalo and an Associate in Applied Science degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. She is a resident of Smithtown.
