ebankIT and Salt Edge Realise the Way Forward for Open Banking Innovation

In pursuit of delivering open banking solutions to everyone, everywhere, Salt Edge has confirmed the fintech ebankIT as its latest development partner.

The open banking provider Salt Edge is coming together with ebankIT, a fintech company that enables digital experiences for banks and credit unions.

The partnership is seeking to help financial services providers in Canada, Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) to leverage a full spectrum of open banking features.

The partnership is in recognition of the links between advancements in open banking and financial inclusion. The technology sets an inclusive banking paradigm and is creating impactful changes in the financial industry around the world.

New payment systems, cybersecurity solutions, advanced analytics and risk management mechanisms are all proving pivotal for a thriving financial sector. Tech companies like ebankIT and Salt Edge are those to assist financial institutions to build technological products based on open banking solutions.

Unlocking open data

EbankIT’s omnichannel digital banking platform offers digital transformation through the provision of out-of-the-box features for financial institutions.

Its new partnership with Salt Edge is allowing banking and credit union platform users to access open data. In addition, platform users are allowed access to the accounts of 5,000 banks in line with the open banking compliance requirements of Canada and EMEA.

Salt Edge is both ISO 27001 certified and licensed as an account information services provider (AISP) under PSD2. Salt Edge’s role in the partnership is to guarantee stable and reliable connections between ebankIT clients and their customers.
