Georgia Coan, a producer journalist and reporter in BBC News’ long-form audio department, has left after seven years to work freelance.

Previously, Coan has held the posts of freelance broadcast assistant, trainee digital journalist, digital producer, assistant producer and podcast producer. She was also a member of “The Next Generation” panel, which is selected by BBC News and helps influence change in news by working with senior leaders from across news and current affairs.

She was also a steering group member for the BBC staff network, RAISED (Real Action In Social and Economic Diversity), which promotes the interests of under-represented audiences and colleagues at the BBC.

An award-winning journalist, you can reach out to Coan via Twitter or LinkedIn.
