As we continue to seek ways to promote cross-functional collaboration and foster growth, I’m pleased to share that Dave Pettit has joined the operations leadership team as Managing Editor, Strategy and Operations, reporting to me.
We’re excited to expand Dave’s scope of responsibility to include working with leaders across Dow Jones—including Barron’s Group, The Wall Street Journal, Risk & Compliance and OPIS—to enhance our capabilities, influence and reach. His primary focus will be partnering with these leaders to develop content initiatives; strengthening collaboration and connection with the newsrooms; and looking for innovative ways to serve our audiences and customers with the best news, data, analysis and events from across the Dow Jones ecosystem.
It’s especially important that we amplify Dow Jones’s strength in Risk & Compliance—the fastest-growing unit of Dow Jones—and our Energy & Sustainability vertical, where Dow Jones has made significant investments. These are the areas where Dave will prioritize his work. He will also continue to oversee content for the weekly Barron’s Roundtable TV show, a successful collaboration with Fox Business.
Dave has extensive knowledge of the people and products across Dow Jones brands, having served the past 35 years in various leadership positions with Barron’s Group and The Wall Street Journal. Earlier in his career, he was also an editor and reporter for Dow Jones Newswires.
I look forward to seeing Dave apply his vast talent and expertise across the broader Dow Jones ecosystem as we look for new and creative ways to deliver customer solutions, extend our market reach and drive revenue.
