Allied Physicians Group, with practices on Long Island, has signed an exclusive partnership with Delaware-based Pariva Health, which offers therapy and support for families with neurodivergent children.
The two organizations aim to transform support for families with children experiencing neurodevelopmental delays, including autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy and learning disabilities.
“The partnership between Pariva Health and Allied Physicians Group will positively impact the lives of children with developmental delays in a major way,” Dr. Kerry Fierstein, a pediatrician and the CEO of Allied.
“Pariva’s skill-based approach coupled with their psychosocial family support helps families give their child the tools to learn and grow,” she added.
By integrating Pariva’s family support program into more than 35 pediatric and family care offices, Allied will now serve more families and children with neurodevelopmental delays. The program provides individualized one-on-one care, and is designed treatment easier and more enjoyable for families and their children.
In working with the Lego Foundation, Pariva aims to empower families of children with developmental delays through this program. It provides comprehensive support from pre-diagnosis to post-diagnosis and in schools. By focusing on the unique needs of children and families, the program offers targeted family interventions that are designed to foster growth, understanding and resilience.
