Tech stocks were mixed Thursday afternoon, with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) decreasing 0.4% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) up 0.4%.

The Philadelphia Semiconductor index rose 0.3%.

In corporate news, JFrog (FROG) shares surged almost 30% after its forecast-beating Q4 performance prompted price target increases from some analysts.

Zebra Technologies (ZBRA) jumped 13% after it said it expects Q1 adjusted earnings of $2.30 to $2.60 per diluted share. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $2.07.

Meta (META) said that advertisers aiming to boost their content on Apple’s (AAPL) iOS versions of the company’s Facebook and Instagram apps will be required to pay an extra 30% fee to Apple. Meta said that users have the option to avoid the Apple fee by buying boosts directly from Instagram and Facebook’s websites. Meta shares rose 2.8%, while Apple was down 1.2%.
